Final Fantasy
Is series of Games (and other media) which started in 1987 as the first RPG game that has side view Battle system since its success it became Square Enix's best selling video game franchise
and the Final Fantasy games has been in almost if not all the game systems out there
every game in the series has it's own independent story But the games share a lot of things (like that every game has it's own (at least one) Cid character) every game story centers on a group of heroes battling a great evil while exploring the characters' internal struggles and relationships

Final Fantasy
The first Game that revolves on the Four Warriors of Light that a prophecy says that they'll come when the darkness comes

Final Fantasy II
The second game in the series , it has many elements that stays with the series like the Name "Cid" and the chocobos the game has it's own unique experience system and it's the first game in the series to have Actual Heroes names and histories
the story follows Firion and the others as he seeks to destroy the empire avenging for his family

The third one ,the game is the first to have job system
the story revolves on four unnamed Warriors of lights (in the famicom/NES version) who after founding the Wind Crystal are granted power to save the world

the fourth in the series and the first one that deputed in SNES console ,the First game of the series to have Summon ability
the story follows the adventures of "Cecil" a Dark Knight who leads the "Red wings" an Army for the king who Ordered to steal crystal from other countries, Cecil and his crew become suspicious of the King ,the king knew and gave him delivery mission which as he didn't know will kill him or the kings Enemy
